Teri Starkweather was chosen winner of the 2010 national cover contest  among hundreds of artists.

Teri Starkweather paints flowers and still life objects, but the real subject of her work is light."These items are really just a way to showcase the light", the artist says. "I almost always use window light in my compositions. I like the way the transparent paint glows with the white of the paper underneath."
